Are you an old school simmer and are you still hooked on The Sims 1? Getting bored of your old objects and want something new. I wrote this tutorial to show you how to recolor your objects in a few quick steps with Transmogrifier.

The Sims Transmogrifier from Lush Creations is a tool that lets you clone an existing object in The Sims 1, and edit its name, price, description and sprite images. The graphics are exported as BMP files, which you can edit with a painting program like Adobe Photoshop or Paintshop Pro. Once you edit the pictures of the object, you can import them back into The Sims 1.

Go To the folder were You saved the Object File C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\Downloads\Transmogrified. Here You see Your file like a folder. In this folder are folders called sprites. Depending on which Object File You choose, it can be 3 sprites up to 20 sprites. I choose a sofa so it were only 3 sprites. In each sprite are 2 BMP files, these we are going to recolor. Every BMP file shows another side of The Object File.
