The Sims 2 - Creating Custom Pets My Doggies Beau and Gina

I am so happy with The Sims 2 Pets Expansion Package. I love creating Your own Pet. I immediately wanted to give My own Pets a place in Sims World so I took Pictures of my Doggies and started My Sims 2 game. I will try to explain in a few simple steps How i did it and how You can do it Yourself.

First make sure You have a few good pictures of Your pet by hand. Because pets always move when You want them to sit down. And for an exact copy You need to make sure You know every spot on Your Pets fur. Then go in to Your game to the create a family section and choose if you want a dog or a cat. I choose dogs because I have 3 doggies, but what ever You choose it comes down to the same steps.

Beau is the dog that I will use for this tutorial. I also made My other dogs Champi, Gina and My cousins dog Angel. Beau is a crossbreed German Shorthaired X Labrador. She has a chocolate brown coat with white markings on the chest and paws. so I begin with choosing the German Shorthaired breed. Then I add some layers of markings. In total I used 6 layers. You can add layers by pushing the layer button with a + in the corner. To remove layer push the layer button with a -.

Then We are up to changing the body structure. Beau has the legs and head of a german Shorthaired. But Her chest, ears and tail are from the labrador breed. First I give her a bigger chest and some more body fat. Just slide the bar under each bodypart that You want to change.

Then come the eyes Beau has beautifull Hazel Eyes. so I need too change that simply by clicking the right color in the menu. I want the eyes to be further apart, so I just slide the bar under the picture until there on the right spot.

I do the same thing with the ears. I want them to flap more to the front so I just move the bar under the picture until they are on the right place.

Now You only have to save Your pet in The breed menu. And voila Your pet is ready to move in with His or Her new Simmie Owners.
