The Sims 2 - Create a Glass Roof and Modern Staircase

Since I began playing The Sims 2, I was Hoping for glass roof tiles. After long periods of waiting I found the Transparent floor tile. This was not exactly what I was thinking about but it comes pretty close to the idea.
I think it is a very bright idea because when You make a flat roof You can use it to make a roof vault. Or just a roof made out of glass, that’s up to Your imagination.
I thought it would be cool to have a very modern House with a lot of light and a spacey effect too it. So I made a roof vault on a flat roof combined with a lot of windows. And a modern, 3 level staircase with a big hallway. I left it open so You will have the high ceiling with a more spacey effect.
For the attic I use the floor tile to give the staircase overview to the hallway below. And it makes the impression that the vault comes from the outside through the inside of the house. Again for the spacey and Modern effect and feeling of this house.

These tiles are gorgeous, thank you for posting the download link. I’ve been looking for these everywhere, and now I want to move the Hartman’s old lot, move them out, and build them something modern across the street from the Potters.
Lily is jealous of her mom and dad’s awesome house :P

what expantion pack do you need for the glass doors??
they are really cool and i made a house that would look better with the doors, but i don’t know what expantion pack to get???
